摘要: Background: Trigeminal neuralgia is the most common cause of facial pain but can be challenging to treat. Some patients fail on medications, and while surgical procedures achieve short-term efficacy, they associated with numerous complications. We present a case series suggesting efficacy safety using pulsed radiofrequency (PRF) through transcoronoid approach treat trigeminal neuralgia. Methods: This retrospective analysis included 8 cases data collected from electronic medical record. Outcomes were scores before after procedure as well percent improvement (improvement in severity, frequency, duration). Results: Patients had an average age 56.4 ± 13 years. All reported procedure, 3 that their was ongoing at time follow-up. No complications by any our patients. Conclusion: PRF may safe effective for treating resistant conservative management.
