摘要: Abstract: Is there a consensus on governance principles beyond national borders? There seems to be converging trend towards widely accepted Global Governance Principles as expressed in the OECD for example. This paper argues that formal and informal mechanisms should integrated. The latter focuses relationship-based enabling access scarce resources – so typical Asia - whereas former emphasizes control monitoring function of boards interpreted West. Western legal interpretation corporate merely implies fiduciary duties shareholders. However, when this perception is expanded acting with care order steer corporation organizational value embraces sustainability, will likely positively affect both shareholders relevant stakeholders. Those global unifying may ultimately evolve into Corporate Citizenship, underpinned by spirited leadership social entrepreneurship induce trust its leaders confidence functioning institutions. notions citizenship are pointing direction engaging, innovative integrated business solutions can start taking hopefully transforming our daunting challenges.
