摘要: The POWER6trade is a dual-core microprocessor fabricated in 65nm SOI process with 10 levels of low-k copper interconnects. Chips split- and connected-core power supplies are fabricated, modeled, tested, showing both the advantages disadvantages each. On-chip noise measurements compared to simulation. simulation show that shorted core grid design has less higher maximum frequency.
