摘要: A simple miniaturization technique using dielectric loading was applied to the design of Ultra Wideband (UWB) microstrip fed ring monopoles. The method consists gluing a commercially available substrate layer each metallization side. Two antenna prototypes were built and tested validate concept. larger prototype covers whole UWB bandwidth with |S 11 | ≪ −10dB. smaller has considerable reduced size, making it suitable for use in Universal Serial Bus (USB) dongle. structure further investigated by testing influence close metallic box on matching.
