摘要: Structural data about linear carbon modifications within the span of more than 30 years rather ‘mysterious’ carbyne history were analyzed. A two-dimensional structure with a hexagonal parameter = 505–525 pm is considered basis for all modifications. The large value this parameter, larger 300 pm-van der Waals diameter sp-carbon atoms, accounted by existence regular vacancies. three-dimensional packing zigzag-like chains 31/2×31/2 vacancy superlattice an ideal matrix doping metals. capture metal atoms during crystallization stabilizes additionally in solid state. Finally, polycrystalline mosaic macrocrystals proposed that can explain textured (spotted) diffraction pattern type observed experimentally.
