摘要: To investigate the effects of water exchange on quantification perfusion, data were acquired in isolated hearts (n = 11) and used to develop a model exchange. Myocardial T 1 was measured 3 times/sec during step changes concentration intravascular (polylysine-gadolinium-diethylene-triamine-pentaacetic acid) extracellular (gadoteridol) agents. For agent, change 1/T (ΔR ) lower than predicted by fast (2.7 ± 0.5 vs. 7.8 sec -1 , respectively), suggested an intra-extravascular rate Hz. contrast kinetics similar those similarly sized molecules (wash-in time constant 38 5 sec), interstitial-cellular Modeling showed that perfusion is underestimated for both agents if ignored, although relationships actual monotonic. We conclude myocardial strongly affects first-pass enhancement but ignoring may still provide reasonable estimates regional differences.
