Mechanical Stability of Superconducting Magnet with Epoxy-Impregnated

摘要: We have developed two epoxy-impregnated superconducting magnets using the NbTi superconductor with a cold bore of 100 mm, which consist three coils, respectively. The first magnet has bobbin to support exhibits poor performance after several training quenches. may be caused by epoxy fracture due stress concentration results from deformation windings during energized. To achieve higher magnetic field alone, we design second bobbins. properties This paper presents and test results. detailed analysis difference between is also discussed.
