摘要: Paleolimnology combines the disciplines of limnology, geology and ecology, but because challenges that separate investigators from direct knowledge about past lake conditions, field is multidisciplinary by necessity. As a result, paleolimnology influenced continuously advances in many disciplines. with limnological studies recent decades, has diverged largely ecological theoretical focuses early investigators, demonstrate need for more integration paleolimnological research. This paper provides brief overview investigations have addressed questions related to as well applied lake-management climate research issues. We examine use transfer function models estimating water-quality important caveats expressed limitations development such models.
