Protective effects of vitamin D on ischemia-reperfusion injury of the ovary in a rat model.

摘要: Objective(s): The aim of the present study is to investigate probable acute effects vitamin D on ischemia-reperfusion injury in rat ovary.Materials and Methods: A group 30 Wistar albino rats was divided into five groups 6 each. Group 1:  underwent laparotomy only ovaries were removed. 2:  3-hr ischemia followed by excision ovaries. 3:  reperfusion 4:  administered min prior excised at end period. 5:  then removed reperfusion. each also biochemical histopathologic analysis. MDA (malondialdehyde), SOD (superoxide dismutase), NO (nitric oxide), TAS (total antioxidant score), TOS oxidant score) analyzed as parameters.Results: There no significant differences between TAS, TOS, or OSI (P>0.05). levels lower treatment especially 5, significantly (P<0.05). In evaluation, we established that an improvement with treatment. According tissue scores, vascular congestion score different 3 5 (P<0.05).Conclusion: Vitamin seems effective molecule for protection ovary. some oxidative damages
