摘要: Abstract Herein, we report for the first time CoII bis(terpyridine) complexes as instant ‘naked eye’ colorimetric detectors of cyanide (CN−) in micromolar concentrations polar solvents, including water, following formation corresponding CoIII tricyanide complex. The new complex [CoIII(4-pyridyl-terpyridine)(CN)3] is characterized by single crystal XRD diffraction. quanitative detection monitored UV–vis spectroscopic method and selectivety to anion shown via addition other anions.
