摘要: Shot peening is a well-known process in applying the residual stress on surface of industrial parts. The induced improves fatigue life. In this study, effects shot parameters such as diameter, speed, friction coefficient, and number impacts applied will be evaluated. To assess these effect, firstly has been simulated by finite element method. Then, have evaluated response method statistical approach. Finally, strong model presented to predict maximum AISI 4340 steel. Also, optimum for are achieved. results indicate that effect diameter increased increasing speed. enhancing coefficient magnitude always cannot lead increase stress.
