摘要: Abstract Remote sensing and Geographical Information System (GIS) are the two techniques that have been applied for study of morphometric morphotectonic properties different drainage basins. Morphometry important in geomorphology, which provide considerable information about subsurface topography earth surface structure. The area is situated mainly Aizawl district some part Serchhip district, Mizoram, covers an ∼102.66 sq. km. upper Tuirial watershed a sixth order basin with total 718 streams all orders dendritic pattern type. parameters reveal low-water storage capacity indicated by Rho coefficient value. largely controlled structure also characterised sparse vegetation cover, impermeable material high relief. data significant tectonically active asymmetric nature. hypsometric integral indicates entire drainages early mature stages fluvial geomorphic cycle development.
