摘要: Study of low-time general aviation pilots, who, in a series spot landings, were suddenly deprived binocular vision by patching either eye on the downwind leg standard, closed traffic pattern. Data collected during these landings compared with control data from flown normal same flight. The sequence and mix monocular randomized to minimize effect learning. No decrease performance was observed restricted one eye, fact, improved. This observation is reported at high level confidence (p less than 0.001). These findings confirm previous work Lewis Krier have important implications regard aeromedical certification standards.
