摘要: Tetrathiafulvalene (TTF) is investigated as a conductive film-making additive on an overlithiated layered oxide (OLO) cathode. When the OLO/graphite cell cycled at high voltage, carbonate-based electrolyte without decomposes continuously to form thick and highly resistant surface film In contrast, TTF added into becomes oxidized before solvents, creating thinner cathode surface. This inhibits further decomposition through cycling stabilizes interface between electrolyte. The cells containing OLO with TTF-added afforded enhanced capacity retention rate capability, making prospective for higher energy density lithium-ion cells.
