摘要: The final chapter of this book describes the general conditions that a physical system must fulfill to serve as basis quantum computer. As specific examples, we discuss semiconductor dots, nitrogen–vacancy (NV) center in diamond, phosphorous donor silicon, endohedral fullerenes, rare-earth ions, and molecular magnets. While it was not possible realize fully functioning large-scale computer any these systems, they have been used for successful presentations different aspects computing, which only demonstrate fundamentals approach, but also highlight interesting each material class. engineering (e.g., preparation precisely ordered arrays qubits) will play an important role future development QIP, test systems can be study new developments fundamental aspects, such possibility isolate from their environment by application suitable sequences control operations.
