摘要: Ce travail s'appuie sur les donnees publiees de l'enregistrement demographique pour evaluer le taux mortalite infantile annuel 21 villes anglaises et 25 districts Londres entre 1840 1910. Une approche geographique comparative permet differentier niveaux respectifs mettre en evidence des cycles courts ces variations. Si facteurs locaux ont leur importance (croissance urbaine, conditions sanitaires du moment, methodes nutritionnelles qualite lait mise marche) matiere infantile, la concordance observee tendances suggere par son synchronisme que l'ensemble systeme urbain etait sensible a influences communes. Les auteurs insistent tout particulierement role conjoint climat lamentables.
