摘要: Background Interventions to decrease the burden of childhood malnutrition are urgently needed, as millions children die annually owing undernutrition and hundreds more left cognitively physically stunted. Environmental enteric dysfunction (EED), a pervasive chronic subclinical inflammatory condition among that develops when complementary foods introduced, places them at high risk stunting, malabsorption, poor oral vaccine efficacy. Improved interventions reduce EED stunting expected markedly improve nutritional status survival throughout resource-limited settings.
