Reduction of Wall Friction of Fine Powders by Use of Wall Surface Coatings

摘要: In this study, the possibilities for reduction of powder wall friction by different types surface coatings on material were investigated. Two conventional coatings, an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene plate and anti-friction varnish, tested, together with a diamond-like carbon coating. It is first time coating has been researched respect to reduction. The angles measured ring-shear tester. results showed that did not really reduce in comparison structural steel. stainless steel they even increased it. contrast, reduced significantly. These are very promising. However, more detailed investigations required.
