摘要: This mini-review briefly documents the phenomenon of blindsight and investigates evidence for a comparable state in olfaction. Blindsight evokes an appropriate response to visual stimulus without any conscious experience or awareness that event. For olfaction, we describe many routine aspects perception may occur awareness, arguably paralleling key blindsight. We then limited neuropsychological suggesting people can apparently respond appropriately odours they cannot subjectively smell - what would term "blindsmell".
