摘要: The morphology, structure, and mode of occurrence the Early Cretaceous nonmarine stromatolites from Kanmon Group in northern Kyushu (SW Japan) Gyeongsang Supergroup South Korea are reviewed. These were formed likely intertidal–supratidal settings a large intracontinental lake (the Kanmon–Gyeongsang Basin) that occasionally exposed to arid condition. Seven macrostructures stromatolite recognized. In particular, three them dominant, i.e., flat type, columnar domal type. thickness clastic layers associated sedimentary facies suggest flux terrigenous clastics into depositional site may have controlled morphological diversity stromatolites, type occurred very shallow nearshore (supratidal), while relatively deeper, offshore (intertidal).
