Alcoholics Anonymous: Key Research Findings from 2002–2007

摘要: Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and other 12-step programs represent an affordable widely accessible community-based resource for the estimated 18 million Americans with alcohol-related disorders. While substantiating information regarding remains challenging due to their autonomous structure emphasis on anonymity, ever increasing body of research provides a wealth data AA's efficacy, mechanisms change, viability various special populations. This review presents key empirical findings from 2002 2007 in these areas, as well proposes recommendations future research.
