摘要: Abstract In this work we present findings from historical archaeological on Barrow Island, Northwestern Australia. We provide the first evidence for translocation of Australian Aboriginal people to Island as part maritime industries, probably pearl fisheries, suggesting presence unfree labourers and raising spectre colonial slavery.
