摘要: The magnetic properties and microstructures of two Nd–Fe–B thick films with different Nd contents have been studied. were deposited in the amorphous state crystallized by post-deposition annealing. Both show a strong 〈0 0 1〉 fibre texture out-of-plane. film higher content has large room temperature coercivity 2.7 T, while one lower only 0.7 T. difference may be explained fact that exhibits continuous Nd-rich grain boundary phase, giving better isolation Nd2Fe14B grains respect to exchange interactions. extrusion liquid top surface high during annealing led formation ripples Ta capping layer, indicating are under compressive stress. This stress-induced flow material up through explains excellent distribution phase. Atom probe tomography revealed presence Cu explaining phase at relatively low 550 °C due eutectic reaction Cu.
