摘要: The effects of self-assembled monolayer templates terminated with carboxyl, hydroxyl, amino and methyl groups (–COOH, –OH, –NH2 –CH3) on CaCO3 crystallization are compared in aqueous solutions low, medium high Ca2+ concentrations. On the –COOH surface, only calcite rhombohedra crystallized at three different concentrations, while size, shape orientation formed calcites distinct various concentration solutions. In low solution, vaterites (111) (200) –OH surfaces respectively no crystals observed –CH3 surface. (104) is Calcites small amounts aragonites surfaces. solutions, results similar to case a lower density crystals. From view two well-known mechanisms for biomineralization, ion absorption particle-based crystallization, our study discussed. Our findings can advance understanding biomineralization nature also supply guidance design advanced biomaterials.
