Evaluation of external forces affecting supply chain sustainability in oil and gas industry using Best Worst Method

摘要: The negative impacts of the oil and gas (O&G) industry on environment society wellbeing necessitate research integration sustainability in its supply chain management practices. However, sustainable (SSCM) O&G context are still lacking terms understanding factors that facilitates or hinders implementation. Therefore, this paper aims at addressing gap by assessing importance external forces within operating could affect SSCM strategy. A literature review was conducted where we identified six namely economic stability, political stakeholder pressure, competition, energy transition regulations. multiple-criteria decision making (MCDM) method called Best Worst Method (BWM) used to assess based data collected using a questionnaire sent academic experts fields O&G.
