Rock temperatures from southeast Morocco and their significance for experimental rock-weathering studies

摘要: Surface and subsurface rock-temperature measurements are presented from three rock types (chalk, granite, sandstone) a hot desert climate. The temperature regimes undergone by each rock-type the differences between them can be best explained reference to values of albedo thermal conductivity for rocks. significance properties in influencing temperatures suggests that these should taken into account when attempting simulate “desert weathering” also trying explain variations weathering behavior different types.
