摘要: AbstractComputer simulation models have seldom been applied for estimating the structural and biophysical variables of forest canopy. In this study, an approach estimation leaf area index (LAI) using information contained in hyperspectral, multi-angle images inversion a computer model are explored. For purpose, L-systems combined with growth ZELIG were to render 3-D architectural scenarios. The Radiosity-graphics (RGM) was used estimate LAI from Compact High-Resolution Imaging Spectrometer/Project On-Board Autonomy (CHRIS/PROBA) data. performed look-up table (LUT) method. estimated evaluated against situ measurement compared predictions CHRIS data obtained Li-Strahler geometric-optical canopy reflectance (GOMS). results indicated that method study can be efficient strategy by RGM m...
