摘要: Abstract Spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L., cv. Albis) was grown in the field at a site located central Switzerland, and exposed to chronic doses of ozone (O3) open-top chambers study impacts on yield. The experiment carried out 1986, 1987 1988. treatments used included charcoal-filtered air (CF), non-filtered (NF) which constant amounts O3 (two levels, O3-1 O3-2) were added daily from 09.00 until 17.00 local time. Mean solar radiation-weighted concentrations during fumigation period range 0·016–0·022 μl litre−1 0·036–0·039 (NF), 0·057–0·058 (O3-1, 1988 only) 0·078–0·090 (O3-2). Fumigation maintained three-leaf stage harvest. Ambient plots as reference. Plant characteristics examined straw yield, grain number grains per head, heads surface area, weight individual harvest index (ratio total dry weight). Pollutant other environmental parameters monitored continuously inside outside chambers. In 1986 1987, enclosure mostly increased values different parameters, while 1988, they decreased. negative effect due extremely turbulent winds, caused lodging all 3 years, increasing negatively affected studied, except for showed no treatment response. Grain yield very sensitive response O3. an primarily size secondarily number. relative similar despite year-to-year differences climatic conditions effects. analysis data combined years revealed increase about 10% filtration. corresponding only 3·5%. Exposure—response models developed years. It is concluded that, ambient may affect spring wheat.
