摘要: Integrated performance simulation of buildings and heating, ventilation air-conditioning (HVAC) systems can help reducing energy consumption increasing level occupant comfort. However, no singe building (BPS) tool offers sufficient capabilities flexibilities to accommodate the ever-increasing complexity rapid innovations in system technologies. One way alleviate this problem is use co-simulation. The co-simulation approach represents a particular case scenario where at least two simulators solve coupled differential-algebraic equations exchange data that couples these during time integration. This paper elaborates on issues important for realization discusses multiple possibilities justify implemented prototype. prototype verified validated against results obtained from traditional approach. It further used study proof-of-concept, demonstrate applicability method highlight its benefits. Stability accuracy different coupling strategies are analyzed give guideline required frequency. concludes by defining requirements recommendations generic cosimulation implementations.
