摘要: Abstract Objective This study aimed to describe the use of P300 event-related potential as a control signal in brain computer interface (BCI) for healthy and paralysed participants. Methods The experimental device used wave movement an object on graphical interface. Visual stimuli, consisting four arrows (up, right, down, left) were randomly presented peripheral positions screen. Participants instructed recognize only arrow indicating specific direction move. epochs, synchronized with stimulus, analyzed on-line via Independent Component Analysis (ICA) subsequent feature extraction classification by using neural network. Results We tested reliability performance system real-time. needed short training period allow task completion reached good performance. Nonetheless, severely impaired patients had lower than Conclusions proposed is effective participants, whereas further research before it can be locked-in syndrome patients. Significance P300-based BCI described reliably control, ‘real time’, motion cursor interface, no time-consuming order test possible applications motor-impaired
