Current Status of Synthetic Ligament Reconstruction

摘要: Autologous reconstruction of the deficient anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) has a reported success rate 75%-80% in recent literature (Aim 1973; Arnoczky et al. 1982; Arvidsson etal. 1981; Clancy Eriksson 1976; Henning 1979; Hughston and Barrett 1983; Johnson 1984; Jones 1980; Lysholm Nicholas Oretorp Poppon Prudhon 1977; Wirth 1984). The observation periods on which these data are based relatively short. In failed reconstructions or patients needing multiple reoperations, increased use been made alloplastic ligaments. This makes for simpler operation, immediate strength substitute allows earlier more rapid rehabilitation.
