摘要: ➤ Although multiple theories have been proposed, no one pathophysiologic mechanism has identified as the etiology for development of osteonecrosis femoral head. However, basic involves impaired circulation to a specific area that ultimately becomes necrotic.➤ A variety nonoperative treatment regimens evaluated precollapse disease, with varying success. Prospective, multicenter, randomized trials are needed evaluate efficacy these in altering natural history disease.➤ Joint-preserving procedures indicated several studies showing successful outcomes at mid-term and long-term follow-up.➤ Studies total joint arthroplasty, once head collapse is present, described excellent greater than ten years follow-up, which major advance led paradigm shift treating patients.➤ The results hemiresurfacing resurfacing arthroplasty suboptimal, restricted indications patients
