摘要: Companies are generally cost conscious, and the expense of having a full-time corrosion engineer is typically considered cost-prohibitive. However, when corrosion-related matters arise, company should consult with competent who can forewarn client potential problems. Nonetheless, often not problem this lack attention contribute to severe equipment deterioration failure. The following case histories reveal how problematic knowledge or understanding be. In each failure attributable microbiologically influenced corrosion. total, there six unique cases which illustrate fact that proper consideration could have avoided at least predicted failures.
