摘要: The morphology of continuously cooled and isothermally transformed bainite structures formed in a Cr-Mo-V rotor steel has been studied using transmission electron microscopy. samples were austenitised at 955-degrees-C for an hour followed by air cooling to room temperature. isothermal transformation reaction was carried out 450-degrees-C up 100 000 s. microconstituents observed are predominantly lower with very small amount upper martensite (formed from untransformed austenite due water quenching). Analysis the selected area diffraction patterns confirm that carbide is orthorhombic cementite orientation relationship between ferrite consistent Bagaryatskii. particles coarser than those bainite. Tempering one 670-degrees-C exhibited formation fine spheroidal MC type carbides. In addition tempering leads enrichment prior grain boundaries particles. ten hours microstructures almost identical tempering.
