摘要: Dietary fiber is widely recognized as an important part of a healthy diet and common addition to enteral nutrition (EN) formulas. Fiber sources differ in characteristics such solubility, fermentability, viscosity, it now well known that different types exert varying physiological effects the body. Clinical studies suggest can wide range benefits areas bowel function, gut health, immunity, blood glucose control, serum lipid levels. Although early clinical products contained from single source, thought blends multiple more closely resemble regular may provide greater for patient. Current recommendations support use dietary when no contraindications exist, but little information exists about which combinations fibers relevant benefit certain patient populations. This article summarizes commonly added EN reviews current literature on nutrition.
