摘要: A one-dimensional model of the vertical exchange suspended sediment in a tidal boundary layer is proposed. The includes two linearized momentum equations for horizontal velocity components and series advection–diffusion concentrations specific size. Turbulence generated at sea-bed computed with aid two-equation closure describing time–space evolution turbulent kinetic energy, K, turbulence macroscale, Λ (K–Λ model). Special attention paid to bottom condition concentration, which mixed type take into account downward fluxes times decelerating flow slack waters. applied conditions encountered shallow site located eastern part English Channel. forced pressure gradients two-dimensional vertically-integrated covering Channel southern North Sea. currents total load predicted by are compared field data collected over full water depth.
