Resuscitation training in developing countries: A systematic review

摘要: Abstract Objective To evaluate whether the inclusion of any specific resuscitation training educational strategy in developing countries improves outcomes. Methods As part International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation evidence evaluation process, a systematic review literature was conducted. The Cochrane database reviews; Medline; Google Scholar and EmBASE were searched using multiple search strategies. Results Forty-four papers relevant to review, including 38 studies that provided support for use programs countries. All examined self-efficacy (15 studies) student satisfaction (8 reported improvement. There no consistent testing method outcomes across few both patient outcome (1 15 self-efficacy, 0 18 cognitive knowledge, 8 psychomotor skills, 5 simulated operational performance). Fourteen survival either newborn or trauma resuscitation, 1 adult none pediatric resuscitation. Increased after variable, with an absolute risk reduction ranged from 0% 34%. Conclusions well received viewed as valuable by students local counterparts. Important student, environment characteristics, inconsistently defined reported. Institution has significantly reduced mortality, but this not been demonstrated other programs.
