High surface low volume fungal biomass composite

摘要: Immobilized microbe composite comprising a porous, high surface area inorganic support having controlled population of fungus-like microbes bonded to the internal surfaces pores, being water insoluble, non-toxic microbes, and porosity such that at least 70% on pore size distribution basis, have diameter as large smallest fungal spore but less than about sixteen times largest diameter. The composites are especially useful in situations requiring biomass within relatively small volume.
