摘要: CuO is an important transition metal oxide with a narrow bandgap (Eg = 1.2 eV). has been used as catalyst, gas sensor, in anode materials for Li ion batteries. also to prepare high temperature superconductors and magnetoresistance materials. In this paper, urchin-like morphologies synthesized via simple reflux method. The method advantages over other solution-based techniques, such ease of operation, safety, yield (95%). XRD results showed pure tenorite was produced. FE-SEM exhibited morphology CuO, which composed aggregates nanosized strips. HR-TEM that the strips were single crystals lattice fringe 2.3 A, corresponds (111). DSC TGA suggested as-synthesized had thermal stability. Time-dependent experiments conducted illustrate evolution crystal phase formation CuO. effects copper sources precip...
