摘要: Background: Regulatory T-cells (Treg) hamper immune responses elicited by cancer vaccines. Therefore, depletion of Treg is being used to improve the outcome vaccinations. Methods: We studied whether an alphavirus vector-based immunotherapeutic vaccine changes number and/or activity and if improves efficacy this against tumours. The based on a Semliki Forest virus (SFV). recombinant SFV replicon particles encode fusion protein E6 E7 from human papillomavirus (HPV) type 16 (SFVeE6,7). Results: demonstrated that SFVeE6,7 immunization did not change levels their suppressive activity. Depletion in mice, using novel anti-folate receptor 4 antibody, enhance response induced immunization. Both priming proliferation phases HPV-specific with were affected immune-suppressive Treg. Moreover, therapeutic antitumour murine tumour model. Conclusions: was hampered seems very promising candidate for treatment HPV-induced disease, as it may require additional interventions modulate
