摘要: Abstract Pb2+ ions are commonly used as the activator in flotation of cassiterite. However, lead pollution surface water has attracted more concern and attention. In this study, effect Fe3+ an on performance cassiterite using benzohydroxamic acid (BHA) collector was investigated by micro-flotation tests. The results experiments showed that addition significantly increased recovery presence BHA collector. cassiterite, there a direct relationship between adsorption amount surface. mechanism un-activated Fe-activated surfaces studied experiments, zeta potential measurements, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis. indicated ions. XPS analysis also revealed terminal hydroxyl group oxygen atoms were dominant reactive sites for ion adsorption. Furthermore, anions can react with Fe adsorbed to form Fe-BHA complexes, thus improving hydrophobicity
