摘要: Logic-based formalizations of argumentation, that take pros and cons for some claim into account, have been extensively studied, basic principles established (for reviews see [1-3]). These assume a set formulae then exhaustively lay out arguments counterarguments, where counterargument either rebuts (i.e. negates the argument) or undercuts support argument). Recently attempts made to refine these by using techniques selecting more appropriate counterarguments taking account intrinsic factors (such as degree inconsistency between an argument its counterarguments) extrinsic impact particular on audience beliefs audience). In this presentation, we consider need ways can be done in logic order existing logic-based approaches argumentation. refinements offer interesting options may better capture practical argumentation intelligent agents [3].
