摘要: Abstract Direct borohydride fuel cells (DBFCs) operate with sodium as a and oxygen or hydrogen peroxide the oxidant. These offer advantages over similar types of in terms higher open-circuit voltage energy density. benefits originate from direct oxidation that proceeds transfer eight electrons. Still, this number is lower practice due to hydrolysis taking place parallel. Problems arise on cathode side sluggish reduction can proceed preferable four-electron process two-electron process. In case oxidant, its decomposition also lowers cell performance. This chapter summarizes efforts made search for anode materials high activity stability lead optimum DBFC The influence components, such membrane separators operation parameters are briefly overviewed.
