摘要: The near-ultraviolet region of the total fluorescence (excitation-emission matrix) human serum reflects essentially protein-bound tryptophan. We examined topographically tryptophan serum. In comparison with topograms from sera healthy donors, patients gynecological malignancies showed significantly different patterns fluorescence, major deviations being at 325 and 365 nm. intensity nm, expressed as percent maximum (i.e., 337 nm) varied little, but was markedly lower for malignancies. found no clear correlation between extent relative concentration protein fractions determined by electrophoresis. Furthermore, we could rule out inflammation in tumor an explanation this effect.
