摘要: Previously, bone morphogenetic protein-7 (BMP-7) was suggested as a factor that may act to facilitate the transition of follicles from primordial stage pool developed primary, preantral, and antral (Lee et al. 2001: Biol Reprod 65:994–999.). Thus, aim present study evaluate effect(s) BMP-7 on primordial-primary follicle transition. Neonatal mouse ovaries were cultured in presence or absence 100 mIU/ml FSH with various doses (0, 10, ng/ml). After 4-day culture period, number counted expression transcripts for receptor (FSHR), kit ligand (KL), c-kit measured by RT-PCR. alone at ng/ml concentration stimulated development concurrent increase mRNA FSHR. down-regulated KL however, ratio between KL1 KL2 increased. There no change expression. Results suggest is one factors involved ovary it play role FSHR further follicular development. Mol. Reprod. Dev. 69: 159–163, 2004. © 2004 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
