On localization in ductile materials containing spherical voids

摘要: Macroscopic properties of a porous ductile medium are analysed on the basis an axisymmetric numerical model and set approximate constitutive equations for voided material suggested by Gurson. Both models used to analyse bifurcation into localized mode. A number predictions obtained two different approaches in reasonable agreement; but it is found under several loading conditions that critical strain localization considerably overestimated continuum model. relatively simple modification results improved predictions.
