摘要: Pharyngitis is the most common of human infections. In U.S. alone, an estimated 30–40 million physician visits each year are prompted by “sore throats”. A recent survey pediatricians revealed that throat cultures were performed during 14.4% patient (14). Moreover, incalculably high number patients endure infection without ever seeking medical attention.
