摘要: This chapter discusses candidate genes, their pathogenic role in atherosclerotic and thrombotic pathways, potential therapies. Atherosclerosis is a complex disease caused by multiple genetic environmental factors, gene environment interactions. Atherosclerosis, the primary cause of coronary artery (CAD), involves wide spectrum cell types, organs, diverse physiological processes that underlie its basis. More than 100 genes have been identified so far influence development lesions. The known risk factors process, such as dyslipidemia, diabetes, hypertension both significant components, leading to further complexity commonly arises from CAD, resulting interaction factors. molecular mechanisms contribute susceptibility atherosclerosis. It also analyzes progress made applying this information clinical diagnosis therapeutics current postgenomic era, what expected be achieve foreseeable future.
