摘要: A statistical procedure for calibration and validation is addressed as an industrial application the analysis problem of piston insertion into housing in pyrotechnically actuated device. Three parameters are identified model that affect solution greatly but they not known a priori. Bayesian approach employed to calibrate these form distributions, which account uncertainty test data. In order validate model, similar new problems introduced, analyzed tested purpose. As result, predictions found work equally well problem, suggests it useful subsequent design without additional procedure.
