摘要: The light-intensity fluctuations in each longitudinal mode of CW AlGaAs-GaAs stripe-geometry double-heterostructure junction lasers which oscillate many modes are investigated experimentally, when the operating current is within a few tens percent above threshold. In addition, experimental results about noise characteristics for directly modulated discussed relation to lasing-spectrum broadening. total intensity output can be well stabilized at currents threshold by larger than 10 percent, even same laser large pulse such high speeds as 400 Mbits. However, relative power 30 dB that whole frequency region observed this work, and spectrum becomes essentially flat modulated. seems nearly equal low-frequency without modulation given normalized pump rate.
